Email Techniques

When ThinkSend creates your HTML or templates for your email marketing campaign, we take the following steps to reduce problems associated with anti-spam email clients:

1. We include your core message as text within the HTML of your email, rather than sending one large graphic image. So even if the HTML is stripped by the recipients' email clients, your textual message should still be clear and readable.

2. Since graphics may be removed by your recipients' email clients, we only use embedded or linked graphics for company logos and other images that can't be represented as text or HTML. We can also include images that you specifically request.

3. We test every email deployment before sending to your subscriber list. We view each email marketing campaign using an email client configured with anti-spam tools that strip out graphics, verifying that your subscribers will still be able to read and understand your message.

4. We recommend that the message within your email include a request to be added to the recipient's address book. However, please note that some email clients require up to five steps for this process.

5. As an option, ThinkSend can include a link within your email that allows the recipient to view the email (with all graphics and Flash elements) on the Web. Please note that this option requires significant extra work and typically triples the project cost.

By using these steps to implement your email marketing campaign, we do our best to ensure that all of your recipients will be able to read your message. However, due to the many different (and rapidly changing) anti-spam tools and configurations that may exist on your recipients' mail servers, computers and email clients, we can't guarantee it 100%.
